Location and private balcony mountain views.

Because of the heat pool water was warmer than normal.

This is our favorite desert hotel for all the reasons above.

Excellent value in a stunningly beautiful location. Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable bed with duvet and soft linens.

There wasn't anything not too like about this hotel, especially at the price we paid.

We visited during the off-season in late Dec. and were impressed with the nice room, comfortable bed, friendly staff, relaxing Jacuzzi and excellent value--all in a stunningly beautiful location in the middle of Anza Borrego State Park. Excellent staff, spacious, comfortable rooms, great facilities. Fridge with ice maker in the room was a nice touch.

Met all our expectations; comfortable, spacious rooms. Friendly, helpful staff. We spent only one day there. For dinner, we ordered a pizza and a salad to go from the restaurant. They called us in our room when our order was ready! Both the pizza and the salad were delicious. We had planned to play some tennis on their beautiful courts, but we were too tired from our hike up Palm Canyon to the oasis--a must do! After hiking 1.5 miles in this rocky canyon you'll see a beautiful stream lined with fan palms. There at the oasis you'll find big horn sheep, which is what "Borrego" means in the first place. Also, the drive out to Font's point--a dirt road that is OK for two-wheel drive cars--leads you to a breathtaking vista. Highly recommended! ...read more
